The production of confined animal in poultry farms is an important productive sector for the supply of raw materials for the agroindustry. This sector’s productivity depends heavily on the thermal comfort of the animals within these structures. Ventilation and exhaust systems must be designed to provide a pleasant internal environment for the animals with homogeneously distributed and adequate temperatures. Computational Fluid Dynamics stands in this context as a modern numerical methodology that can be used in the design and analysis of poultry farms with the objective of achieving the best environment possible for animals for increasing productivity.Applications
